Mariano got his start in the construction industry in 1990 as a teenager. Throughout his career, Mariano witnessed numerous accidents due to lack of knowledge and language barriers, ultimately choosing to pursue formal safety training to educate himself and share his knowledge with others around him. Mariano chose the construction industry because of the vast opportunities it provides. After 14 years in the safety industry, he became the Safety Manager at Starr Commercial 2020. When he’s not working, Mariano enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, hiking, camping, and fishing.
