Kelly Bruns brings a unique combination of leadership, grit, and people-first values to her role as President of Starr Commercial. Raised around the construction industry with a Union Electrician father and years of involvement in the framing and drywall trade, Kelly developed a deep-rooted understanding of the industry long before stepping into its executive ranks. Before transitioning into construction, she began her career as a special education teacher, honing the communication, adaptability, and empathy that now define her leadership style. In 2020, Kelly purchased Starr Commercial, becoming the majority owner. She leads with a commitment to building lasting relationships, a collaborative process, and working together with clients and the Starr Commercial team. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her two children, extended family, and friends.
